Key Responsibilities:
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident linens and facility laundry
Ensure proper handling of soiled linens following infection control guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Assist with general porter duties, including:
Trash removal
Floor care and basic cleaning support
Restocking supplies as needed
Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
Follow all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous laundry, housekeeping, or porter experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
