Job Description:
Assists in preparation of meals and snacks
Cleanup of dining areas
Assists with receiving, rotating, and storing of supplies and food
Ensures that food storage and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner
Equipment and supplies are properly maintained
Helps to clean work areas, wash dishes, pans, and utensils
Interacts with our Residents, family members, staff, and members of the community
Handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations, and reports immediately all violations of safety or sanitation rules to supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop, and stretch
Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift large items up to 50lbs
Ability to write and record data, to read and follow oral and written instructions in English
Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency
Ability to communicate with residents, staff, family members in a professional manner
Reliable able to multitask
