Civiltec Engineering is hiring a Civil/Structural Designer to support our engineering team in preparing detailed design drawings and documentation for structural and civil projects. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD drafting skills, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and a keen attention to detail. This role involves producing and modifying structural drawings, developing layouts, and compiling complete bills of materials under the direction of a Lead Structural Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and detail structural and civil drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and/or modify drawings based on engineer-provided markups, sketches, and design data with high accuracy.
- Interpret and apply engineering specifications and supporting documents to produce design deliverables.
- Prepare and detail building foundations, framing systems (wood, steel, concrete, masonry), roofs, and associated structural connections.
- Develop civil layouts, including grading, drainage, and paving plans, and ensure accuracy of the bill of materials.
- Perform basic structural calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in site visits to document existing conditions and verify field measurements.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Structural Engineer and other design team members to ensure project quality and accuracy.
- Certificate or diploma in Technical Drafting, Civil/Structural Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- At least 3 years of relevant design/drafting experience.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing practices, and material specifications.
- Basic familiarity with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under direction, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
