CivilSurv Design Group, Inc. (CivilSurv) is a well-established civil and environmental engineering firm with a long history of delivering high-quality municipal water and wastewater solutions throughout Florida. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team and play a key leadership role in project delivery, client service, and technical excellence. The preferred location for this role is our corporate headquarters in Lakeland. However, remote applicants located in the Tampa St. Petersburg, Orlando, Port St. Lucie, or Vero Beach areas will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project management and task coordination for potable water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
- Define, oversee, and track project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Lead the development of detailed designs, construction plans, specifications, technical reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of technical documents.
- Prepare permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain within 3 months through reciprocity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering or related work.
- Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, or ability to obtain EI certification within 6 months of hire.
