SummaryThis position supports our CTDI OSP (Outside Plant) Telecom Engineering team, which is based out of our Corporate Headquarters.Our 1st preference is for workers to be able to come into the officeThe teams 2nd preference is open to remote candidates who are located within the Northeast, preferably in EST time zone.Please ensure that you include your candidates current location (city & state) in your submission***Shift timings***7:30 am - 3:30 pm [MON-FRI], on an as-needed basis.ResponsibilitiesTo prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications.Function as a quality checkpoint for all Cad drawings.Perform Telecom OSP Records pre-posting and final posting utilizing IDDS.Work closely with field engineers; prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.Generate work prints for construction ready work packages.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Must have a strong working knowledge of Verizon Drafting using Verizons proprietary applications, strong analytical skills, and understanding of design methods in telecommunications.Working knowledge of IDDS, ICGS, FIMS, PRS, Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.Good computer, communication, and visualization skills are needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.Must be detail-oriented.Requires minimum of five years experience in Verizon outside plant records draftingSkillsVerizon DraftingAdobe AcrobatMS officeIDDS
