We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and oversee complex civil engineering projects from conception through completion. Duties
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects using advanced 3D CAD modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create precise plans and simulations.
- Conduct comprehensive building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal construction regulations and building code compliance standards.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and detailed design documentation for various infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate project execution and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards before project approval.
- Provide expert guidance on construction regulations, environmental considerations, and sustainable practices throughout project lifecycles.
- Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge in design engineering, building code analysis, and BIM applications to foster professional growth within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in design engineering with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in zoning code analysis, building code as pertaining to site parameters, and ensuring building code compliance across diverse projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Excellent understanding of construction regulations and environmental guidelines relevant to civil engineering projects.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in site planning, drainage systems, and related disciplines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly to clients and team members.
Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
