You’ll work closely with our Principals in the civil/site practice to plan and execute projects across the private, public, and energy sectors including Oil & Gas (Linear, Well Pad), Site Layout, and Linear Power. Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams to design site layouts, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management systems, and prepare utility and grading plans;
- Develop proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets; oversee financial performance and profitability;
- Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and government officials throughout the project life-cycle;
- Participate in public meetings and project presentations as needed;
- Mentor and assist in the professional development of staff, including conducting annual reviews and setting development goals;
- Collaborate with senior management to customize your career path through leadership and business development training.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology (M.S. is a plus);
- 6 years’ professional engineering experience;
- Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
- Experienced in technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling software (Hydraflow/HydraCAD/HY-8);
- Basic understanding of project financial management (AR/WIP) of projects;
- Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development;
- Proven ability to effectively mentor and manage staff;
- Experience communicating and coordinating between staff, clients, contractors, and government regulatory officials.
