Civil Engineering of Columbia is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager with strong technical expertise and design judgement to lead civil engineering project from concept through completion.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent design knowledge, with the ability to make sound high-level engineering decisions, guide project direction, and ensure quality standards across all phases of design and delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance technical excellence, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of engineers and designers, effectively delegating tasks based on personnel strength and workload, reviewing plans and technical deliverables, coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies and driving projects to successful completion.
Successful Candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong civil engineering design experience and technical leadership
- Ability to make confident, high-level design decisions
- Project management and organizational skills
- Delegation and team leadership abilities
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
