Civil Engineer In Training (EIT)

CEC is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer in Training to join our team. EIT will work on a variety of public and private projects including: multi-family, single-family, commercial, and industrial developments; and utility infrastructure projects. Candidates will work in the office performing engineering calculations and operating CAD software. Team members will use a variety of technologies to effectively communicate with collaborators to achieve project goals.

Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Abilities:

·        Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·        Highly organized with the ability to keep accurate records and multi-task

·        Passion for solving problems and working collaboratively

·        Desire to continually learn and excel professionally

·        Flexibility to work well in an office setting

·        Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

·        Successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam

·        Ability to read and create construction plans

·        Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar

·        Strong foundation of knowledge in Microsoft Office products

·        Site development knowledge (basic grading and hydrology)

·        Understanding of construction and surveying methods
