Summary
We are seeking a Computer Technician to join our team at the North Las Vegas Campus. In this role, you will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, providing help desk support, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems. Your contributions will directly impact our students' learning experiences and their readiness for future careers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computer systems and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide help desk support to staff and students, resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software applications.
- Monitor network performance, including LAN and VPN connections, ensuring reliability.
- Assist in the management of Active Directory accounts and permissions.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
- Document technical procedures and user guides for reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer management or IT support roles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist users with technical issues.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience with help desk operations and customer service principles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
