Civetta Property Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sales to lead our new home sales team across multiple developments in the Philadelphia market. This role is responsible for managing, coaching, and driving performance for a team of four sales consultants while ensuring an exceptional homebuyer experience from first contact through contract.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with hands-on home sales experience, strong coaching skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams. This individual must be disciplined in following a proven sales process and capable of coaching sales consultants to improve conversion rates and exceed objectives.
Our buyers are primarily first-time homebuyers participating in the Turn the Key Program in partnership with the City of Philadelphia. Success in this role requires the ability to educate, build trust, and guide skeptical buyers through a meaningful and life-changing opportunity.
Position Overview
The Director of Sales will lead and coach our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets across all developments. This individual will oversee day-to-day sales operations, implement sales strategies, and foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, motivation, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of four new home sales consultants
- Drive traffic, conversion, and contract performance across assigned communities
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews
- Ensure consistent execution of Civetta’s sales process, CRM usage, and reporting standards
- Partner with marketing, construction, and operations teams to support community success
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and report insights to senior leadership
Coaching & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate sales consultants
- Foster a positive, accountable team culture focused on growth and professionalism
- Lead weekly sales meetings focused on pipeline management, strategy, and skill development
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and brand representation
Sales Execution
- Support key negotiations and assist with closings as needed
- Maintain deep knowledge of the local real estate market and competitor activity
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory real estate standards
- Uphold Civetta Property Group’s customer service standards throughout the sales process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred)
- 5 years of sales experience, including 2 years in sales management or team lead role
- Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of the homebuying process, contracts, and financing fundamentals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and sales analytics
- Experience with Pipedrive preferred
- Experience with the Turn the Key Program a plus
- Passion for coaching and developing others
