Industrial Superintendent
Location: Hickory NC
Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 Base Salary (DOE) bonus / truck allowance
I’m partnered with a well-established general contractor who has built a strong reputation across North Carolina for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects. They have a long-standing presence in the Hickory market and are looking to add a Superintendent to lead an upcoming industrial construction project in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations for industrial construction projects from start to finish
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain safety standards and enforce site-specific safety plans
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve field challenges proactively
- Lead progress meetings and maintain accurate daily reports
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial construction
- Strong understanding of site logistics, scheduling, and safety compliance
- Ability to lead field teams effectively and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
- Industrial construction experience (manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or processing facilities)
