A leading Heavy Civil contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their growing Heavy Civil division due to a strong pipeline of work across NYC and the surrounding boroughs. This company has a strong reputation within the heavy civil and heavy highway market and continues to secure major infrastructure, roadway, bridge, excavation, and utilities projects.
The ideal Heavy Civil Project Manager will have experience of managing:
- Heavy Civil construction projects
- Heavy Highway projects
- Bridge rehabilitation or bridge construction
- Excavation and site development
- Underground utilities and utility relocation work
- DOT / public infrastructure projects
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Heavy Civil projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Coordinate Heavy Highway, bridges, excavation, and utilities scopes
- Lead project meetings and work closely with field operations teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Requirements:
- 5 years of Heavy Civil Project Management experience
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong background within Heavy Highway, bridges, excavation, or utilities
- Experience working on DOT or public works Heavy Civil projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
