Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Front Desk Receptionist, located in Manhattan, NY. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming and assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, managing phone inquiries, coordinating reservations, providing information about the hotel and surrounding area, and addressing guest issues or needs promptly and courteously. Additional duties include performing clerical tasks, maintaining a clean and organized front desk space, and supporting other hotel staff as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to assist guests effectively and address concerns promptly.
- Proficiency in Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette, with the ability to manage bookings and respond professionally to inquiries.
- Clerical Skills, including basic computer literacy, handling reservations systems, and organization.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, a welcoming attitude, and a commitment to providing a positive guest experience.
- Experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bilingual is a must
