Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Process customer payments accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.
- Assist guests with basic questions about menu items, pricing, and restaurant services.
- Confirm order details and communicate customer requests clearly with restaurant staff.
- Provide receipts and assist with routine checkout requests.
- Help organize completed orders and maintain smooth service flow when needed.
- Keep the register, counter, and customer-facing areas clean and organized.
- Restock napkins, utensils, menus, and other service supplies as needed.
- Communicate customer concerns or transaction issues to the appropriate team member.
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and other daily duties as assigned.
- Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
