Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of automotive loan processing, including credit analysis, transaction structuring, and title processing to ensure timely and accurate deal completion.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through proactive communication, personalized service, and effective upselling of financing and insurance products.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable loan terms while maintaining compliance with all loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and dealership policies.
  • Oversee transaction structuring to optimize deal profitability while adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all financial documentation, contracts, and regulatory paperwork meet compliance standards related to automotive sales industry regulations and financial regulatory laws.
  • Utilize financial software systems for efficient loan processing, credit analysis, and client data management.
  • Conduct regular training on industry knowledge of financial regulations, credit analysis techniques, and dealership sales strategies to foster team development.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, ensuring accuracy in math calculations such as 10-key typing tasks and basic arithmetic involved in deal structuring.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities that enhance revenue while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Monitor compliance with loan regulations including TILA disclosures, title processing procedures, and other legal requirements governing automotive financing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial services within the automotive or dealership industry, including loan officer or finance management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, financial compliance standards, and credit analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation, client communication, and relationship management to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as CDK or equivalent dealership management systems for transaction processing and record keeping.
  • Excellent math skills including basic calculations for deal structuring, credit assessments, and contract details; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of automotive financing products including insurance options like F&I (Finance & Insurance).
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts and legal documents related to loans and titles accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining compliance documentation and transaction records.
  • Exceptional customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to upselling additional products or services that benefit clients.
