At City Voyager, team members receive pay for a 4-hour shift, even though our routes typically complete within 2.5-3 hours. We also provide pay for major holidays. City Voyager is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Driver to join our team and provide safe, reliable transportation for disabled individuals to and from adult day programs. Our ideal candidate has a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport disabled individuals to and from adult day programs, adhering to assigned schedules and routes
- Minimally Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle, ensuring the proper use of mobility aids and safety equipment
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-organized vehicle environment
- Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, ensuring it meets safety and operational standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the adult day program staff
- Complete and maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation services
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations for transporting disabled passengers
- Provide a compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Held a valid driver's license for at least one year
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and patient demeanor in challenging situations
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and providing exceptional service
- Successful completion of a background check, fingerprint and drug test
A company vehicle will be provided and may be stored at our office or your house (Your choice).
