LAND ACQUISITION MANAGER

Position Summary: City Ventures is looking for a highly motivated Land Acquisition Manager. If you are a self-starter and want to procure new land acquisition opportunities for ground-up development of residential projects throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, then this is a great opportunity for you. The ideal applicant has 3 years of acquisitions experience, has great interpersonal skills, and is fiercely tenacious. Working closely with landowners, city officials, and the brokerage community, you will manage all aspects of site acquisitions -- including sourcing and identifying development opportunities, analyzing/underwriting the project, structuring the deal, negotiating the contract, and consummating the transaction.

Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required; an advanced degree is welcome but not required
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate acquisition, development, or brokerage
• Strong knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area region and submarkets
• Adept at negotiations and creative problem solving
• Proficient understanding of Excel and financial pro forma analysis
• Organizational skills, strong writing skills, and great interpersonal skills are paramount

Compensation:
• Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience level
• Opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus
