Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Production Pattern Maker role based in Los Angeles. The role involves creating and adjusting patterns to match design requirements, checking garment fit, and using Gerber software. You’ll work closely with design and sewing teams to ensure accurate, good quality production.
Responsibilities
- Develop production patterns by interpreting designer sketches and draping on a form if needed to accurately translate design concepts into patterns.
- Evaluate garment design lines with Designer to ensure proper fit, construction, and overall execution.
- Create and maintain a pattern card including detailed documentation of garment pieces, trims, components, and construction details required.
- Manage and prioritize workload with production manager.
- Revise and update patterns based on design and fitting feedback and release to tech team and factories overseas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Coursework or training in computer patternmaking.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with a variety of garments and fabric types.
- Proficiency with Gerber CAD patternmaking systems.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and development processes.
Pay: $24.70 - $35.00 per hour
