Role Description This full-time remote role as a Medical Device Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling surgical and orthopedic medical devices to healthcare providers and hospital systems. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and purchasing departments, conducting product demonstrations, and providing clinical support during procedures as needed. The role involves managing a sales territory, identifying new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and ensuring timely follow-up and customer support. The representative will collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback from the field, stay updated on product training and clinical data, and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Medical Sales and Sales skills, including territory management, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Knowledge of Orthopedics and related medical devices, with the ability to discuss clinical benefits and applications.
- Experience working in or supporting the Operating Room environment, including familiarity with surgical workflows and protocols.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine and medical terminology sufficient to communicate effectively with clinical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, preferably in medical device or healthcare sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage travel within a territory, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare) or equivalent professional experience.
