Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Treatment Coordinator to oversee daily office operations and guide patients through their treatment plans. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of dental procedures and insurance processes. You will manage staff, ensure operational efficiency, and help patients understand and commit to their treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the dental office.
- Supervise and support front desk and clinical team members.
- Handle staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
- Monitor office systems and patient flow to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Generate and review reports related to office productivity and collections
- Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, ensuring understanding of procedures, timelines, and costs.
- Educate patients on the importance of treatment and answer any clinical or financial questions.
- Work with insurance to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations and pre-determinations.
- Help patients understand financial options, including in-house payment plans and third-party financing.
- Follow up with patients to encourage case acceptance and maintain schedule productivity.
- Track unscheduled treatment and maintain recall systems.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a dental office, with at least 1 year in a managerial or treatment coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, insurance processes, and billing.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to present treatment confidently and handle financial discussions professionally.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
