What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer position at City Shield Security Services?
City Shield Security Services is looking for people who are passionate about private security to join our Executive Protection team. Applicants must be a current or retired law enforcement officer with a minimum of 10 years experience. Security professionals interested in working private security details in Washtenaw County are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Valid MI CPL and MCOLES certification
- A minimum of 10 years law enforcement experience (current or retired)
- Enforce and comply with company policies, post orders and client instructions
- Provide visual deterrence by maintaining high visibility at all times
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized person/s or unusual occurrences.
- Call emergency departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized person/s.
Requirements
- Must be current or retired law enforcement or select military personnel.
- 18 years of age or older and legally allowed to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma, driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate with management and client regarding safety concerns during shift
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Report writing when necessary
