What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security position at CITY RESCUE MISSION INC?
Position Summary:
Security secures premises of property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, access points and permitting entry. Provides direction during emergency situations and helps maintain a safe and secure environment. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and enforce program policies and procedures. The use of walkie-talkies, desk phone or cell phones to stay in contact with other security staff and/or work therapy clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes security measures for the safety of the organization.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
- Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules and safety violations.
- Call 911 or aid if necessary.
- Monitor Cameras.
- Monitor entrance of property.
- Walk the campus to maintain security.
- Ability to follow instruction from supervisor.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Enforce program policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director and/or President/CEO
