Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and organized Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to handle technical sales, and have strong English communication skills. Must be free to work Tuesday and Thursday

Duties:
- Greet customers as they approach the register and process their purchases
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions regarding pricing and product availability
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security policies

Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

We are a busy retail ACE Hardware store with Benjamin Moore Paint in Hoboken, NJ. We will be accepting job applications for part-time Cashier. Retail experience a plus, drivers license also a plus.

Physical Requirements:

-Employee is required to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50lbs.

-Employee will spend part of the day standing, part walking and sometimes stooping, climbing and kneeling. Picking up paint and inventory. Tagging merchandise and Merchandising the store.
