PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
Job Summary:
This position is responsible to assist the Public Works Department with the planning and coordination of maintenance/service and repair all of city-owned Heating and Cooling equipment. The work is performed under the direction of the Internal Services Supervisor and Facilities Foreman.

Minimum Required Qualifications (what you need to minimally have to be considered):
- Vocational diploma in HVAC.
- Minimum of (3) years of HVAC Install experience; both retro-fit and new construction
- Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for eligibility of City coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Universal certification preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of geothermal well systems.
Salary & Benefits:
Starting pay rate is $37.07 per hour in accordance with the Local 150 Union contract. Position includes eligibility for full benefits package of group health insurance, benefit time, and IMRF retirement plan.
