Interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement? We're hiring Police Recruits to join our team!
Training is in accordance with curriculums and regulations aligned with the state of Virginia. The academy will include a combination of classroom and hands-on training and physical fitness activities. Complete the field training program and become a fully certified law enforcement officer through the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Acquires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to become a certified Police Officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Participates in physical fitness training
- Participates in training activities in the academy
- Contributes to a positive training academy environment
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Must be 21 years of age.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid and appropriate driver’s license.
