Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate non-CDL passenger vehicles
- Memorize routes, transfer points, and fare structures of all fixed-route bus lines and Paratransit
- Perform a complete pre-trip/post-trip inspection of bus
- Understand and follow all safety rules
- Provide schedule, route, and fare information to passengers seeking assistance
- Operate wheelchair lift and assist individuals with disabilities in boarding, riding, and alighting in a safe manner
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Valid Driver's license
- General knowledge of City traffic rules and regulations
- Must be able to work either early mornings OR evenings and some Saturdays
- Willing to participate in random drug and alcohol screens in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol regulations
