Duties and Responsiblities
- Assists with routine maintenance, plumbing, electric, HVAC and carpentry repairs
- Ensure equipment, tools and supplies are properly cleaned, stored and secured
- Ensure maintenance requests are handled in timely fashion
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required with some experience in construction/maintenance activities as related to buildings and grounds. Possession of a valid and appropriate driver's license. Some knowledge of the standard practices in construction/maintenance activities as related to building construction. Ability to understand and carry out oral/written instructions. Skill in the use and care of maintenance related tools and equipment.
Candidates must be comfortable working within a secured facility environment; prior experience in such settings is strongly preferred.
