Need 10 full-time, temporary, seasonal Beekeepers to work in Warroad, MN. From: 03/08/2025 - 12/20/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. Workers will be paid the overtime rate of 1 and 1/2 times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours per work week. Rate of pay may be more depending on experience, or other factors such as job performance, skill, or punctuality. JOB DUTIES: Attend to live bees to produce honey and maintain colony health through feek/supplements; Assemble bee hives, inserts honeycomb of bees into hives and uncap harvested honeycombs and extract honey from honeycombs. Must be able to lift 75 pound boxes for honey transport; moving bee boxes from hives to extracting facility; driving farm vehicle to obtain supplies, honey extracting equipment, and misc. tools used to work with honey bees; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment, worksite, and colony boxes. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. Employer may pay workers more depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as job performance, skill, and punctuality. JOB REQUIRMENTS: Must have minimum 3 months recent and verifiable experience with references as a beekeeper; no bee, pollen, or honey-related allergies; able to obtain driver's license following hire; able to obtain clean driving record; must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.; No minimum education requirement. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
