Grounds Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial mowing equipment, performing general property maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Landscaping experience and electrical knowledge are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate zero-turn mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment
• Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Plant, mulch, weed, and maintain flower beds and shrubs
• Perform routine property maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
• Complete basic mechanical maintenance on lawn and maintenance equipment
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance projects
• Inspect property for safety concerns and maintenance needs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner

Qualifications

• Experience operating commercial mowing and landscaping equipment required
• General maintenance experience required
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment repair experience required
• Landscaping experience preferred
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
