BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to tow and fuel small aircraft, complete maintenance tasks, and to respond to customer requests. This is accomplished by greeting customers and taking phone orders, operating fuel trucks and aircraft tugs, documenting fuel sales and deliveries, recording charges for billings, training new employees, repairing and maintaining terminal buildings and hangars, completing fuel reporting requirements, and maintaining the airfield. Other duties include completing inventories of gas, jet fuel and oil, and completing customer transactions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be fingerprinted and found not to have any disqualifying criminal offenses as itemized by TSA.

# Code Essential Functions
1 L Regular and reliable attendance in compliance with given schedules is a mandatory requirement of this position. Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice
2 M Tows and fuels aircrafts by using aircraft tugs, hooking and unhooking tow bars, backing aircraft into hangers, and opening, closing and locking all hanger doors, operating fuel trucks and pulling up to aircrafts, receiving fuel orders and recording fuel sold, and submitting orders for billing.
3 S Provides customer service by greeting customers, answering the phone and responding to inquiries, monitoring and answering the airport radio, assisting customers with transactions, providing information, taking orders, managing pilot requests, and responding to accidents or incidents.
4 L Maintains fuel inventories by measuring available fuel and oil, filing and maintaining required documentations, ordering fuel and oil, and processing invoices.
5 M Maintains vehicles and facility by checking and replacing fuels, checking tires, belts and hoses, mopping and sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, emptying trash, completing minor repairs, mowing and trimming grounds, cleaning up litter or debris, completing minor repairs as warranted, and inspecting the airfield for possible hazards.
6 M Trains staff by facilitating discussions, monitoring work, providing information on policies and procedures, demonstrating tug operation, and providing information on transactions and customer needs.
