Job Announcement:
The City of Webster's Public Works Department is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator. The ideal candidate for this position will ensure the efficient operation of the City's wastewater system. This is accomplished by monitoring, operating, and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations, and collection system, interfacing other City employees, vendors, and citizens. This position does not provide directions to other employees.
Minimum Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Class "C" Wastewater Operator License from TCEQ

Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License

Preferred Class "C" Water Operator License from TCEQ
Special Requirements:
This is an essential services position. Employees in essential services positions will be required to provide services in the course and scope of their employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Webster's citizens per the City's Emergency Services Guidelines.

Salary range is approximately: $21.581 - $26.295 hourly, commensurate with experience and/or qualifications.

New employees also qualify for a salary increase after completion of a six (6) month probationary period.
