Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
Under the direct supervision of the Regional Administrator, participates in an agency-sponsored training program of a six to twenty-four month duration. Receives work assignments designed to develop knowledge, understanding and practical skills consonant with the various programs administered by the Department of
Human Services with specific emphasis on welfare reform/TANF and the operations of a local office. Receives controlled assignments involving the completion of work tasks of increasing difficulty and
responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
Requires Bachelor’s degree with major course work in Political science, administration or related field. Requires experience with the application of administration tenets such as might have been obtained in collegiate organizations, volunteer participation or by employment. Also requires skills, professional writing experience and demonstrated ability to write with clarity, consistency and effectiveness. Requires extensive experience in using personal computer software -WordPerfect for windows.
