The City of Waynesville is now accepting applications for a three (3) Seasonal Workers in the Parks Department. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in helping maintain our community parks and public spaces.
Position: Parks Seasonal Laborer I
Status: Seasonal, Non-Benefited
Season Dates: May through October
Location: Waynesville Parks Department
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
Cleaning park facilities and public areas
Assisting with landscaping and beautification projects
Setting up for park events and activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
Ability to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
Dependable and able to work as part of a team
Special Note for High School Students:
Seasonal employees who are currently enrolled in high school will be released from duties two (2) weeks prior to the first day of school.
