A reliable and motivated individual to support municipal planning projects and assist Planning staff with plat reviews in the Development Services department.Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service, planning, or related experience: or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Position Overview
Under basic supervision, assists with various basic municipal planning projects for the Development Services department; assists Planning staff with plats.
Essential Functions
- Assists internal and external customers with a variety of plat and other planning issues; performs duties within the scope of authority and training and in compliance with City policies.
- Responds to plat-related questions from customers; maintains records and processes technical documents.
- Researches and compiles data for urban planning projects; duties may vary according to job assignment.
- Provides customer service and answers inquiries on City standards and regulations; assists advisory boards and commissions; provides information and recommendations within the scope of authority.
