Electrical Engineer Trainee

Vineland Utility Engineering is seeking candidates with a Bachelor of Science in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and a demonstrated aptitude for project management. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. This candidate must be comfortable coordinating multiple priorities in a collaborative and fluid environment. Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they utilized their project management skills to achieve success.

VMEU’s involvement in the generation, transmission, and distribution markets allows our engineers to experience a wide range of technical challenges. Vineland Utility Engineering manages large and small-scale projects in support of the following core functions:

· Distribution and generation equipment installation, maintenance, and upgrades;

· Operation and control strategies for aero-derivative combustion turbines:

· Grid modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting;

· Coordination of power system outages;

· Environmental compliance;

· Renewable energy systems modeling and interconnection;

· Geographic Information System (GIS) maintenance;

· Development of work order packages to support our operations team;

· Service and procurement contracts management;

· Budget planning and inventory control;
