Responsibilities

- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management.
- Oversee contract negotiations, review specifications, blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to maintain project accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to stay within financial parameters.
- Conduct quality control inspections, safety audits, and ensure compliance with TCEQ regulations across all construction sites.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and city officials to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly.
- Supervise field crews by providing guidance on construction site activities, reading blueprints, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a focus on safety and quality.
Experience
- Proven management experience overseeing large-scale water infrastructure or civil construction projects.
- Extensive background in construction site supervision with a strong understanding of pipeline installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling.
- Familiarity with heavy civil construction and blueprint reading skills.
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ safety standards related to construction sites involving water systems.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and procurement processes within the construction industry.
