JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Parks and Recreation team, reporting directly to the Program Supervisor, this position helps
supervise the daily operations of the E-Sports room of the Bob Crane Community Center (BCCC).
This is a part-time role which works within the normal operating hours of the E-Sports room.

• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all participants using the E-Sports room by providing quality
customer service.
• Registers users and process facility visits using the registration site. Monitor check-in procedures.
• Provide minor technical support to enhance the patron's experience.
• Respond to questions from patrons and educate users, parents, and visitors on E-Sports operations,
including programming, equipment, and policies.
• Keep E-Sports room, equipment and supplies clean and sanitized and ready for use by patrons.
• Enforce all E-Sports and building policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
• Monitor E-Sports room to ensure all users are engaging in appropriate conduct at all times.
• Manage opening and closing procedures of the E-Sports room. Secure all equipment at closing.
• Report technical and operational issues to Manager of Duty.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs other duties as required. (5%)QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School graduate or equivalent; some college preferred;
• Must be at least 15 years of age.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• CPR and First Aid certification required within the first thirty days of employment.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: (* indicates can be developed after employment).
Knowledge of:
• *City, Department, and Division goals and objectives;
• *City, Department, and Division policies and procedures;
• *Personnel rules and regulations;
• *Video games across various platforms or willingness to learn;
• Customer service and de-escalation techniques;

• Current technology and social media.
Skill in:
• Proficient use of applicable technology and software including the department’s computer registration
site (RecTrac);
• Basic computer or video game troubleshooting*;
• Interpersonal and communication skills;
• Use of modern office equipment;
Ability to:

• Carry out detailed written or oral instructions;
• Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form;
• Troubleshoot problems involving several variables within a familiar context;
