What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police Chief position at City of Troy?
The Troy Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Chief and to establish a hiring list. The hiring list will be valid for one (1) year. There is currently a position open at this time. The hiring process will proceed in the following steps:
Acceptance of Applications
Testing
Oral Interview(s)
Background Investigation (to include fingerprinting)
Establishment of Hiring List
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Must be a citizen of the Unites State;
Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
Not have been convicted of a felony;
Be of good moral character, as determined by a background investigation;
Be a high school graduate or equivalent;
Possess or be eligible for a valid Montana driver’s license.

Pay: From $24.74 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
