Denver County Court has an opening for a Senior IT System Administrator to perform professional design and modification which includes revision, research, and testing computer network hardware and software.
About Our Job
Plans and coordinates implementation and development of network systems including network operating system software and hardware and communications networks.
Coordinates with supervisor to develop short- and long-range plans for upgrading and improving the agency’s computer networks.
Performs lead work over subordinate employees or project management duties on a rotating basis.
Develops and upgrades client database networks.
Coordinates maintenance and upgrades of agency’s computer networks.
Resolves unusual or critical network system problems and complaints.
Performs and documents system back-up and recovery or directs others to do so.
Writes or modifies software programs including analysis, writing specifications and code, program installation, and documentation for use with multi-application, multi-user database systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
About You
Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Three years of professional information technology experience installing, maintaining and/or modifying operating system and/or network operating system software and associated hardware.
A Baccalaureate Degree in an unrelated field plus 30 semester hours of course work in Information Technology will substitute for the minimum education requirement or appropriate education and experience may substitute for the minimum education and experience requirement.
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
MCSE
Windows 2003
Exchange 2003
