Tacoma Power is excited to announce we are accepting applications for 2 vacancies for Seasonal Grounds Workers (under the Laborer classification) at the Cushman Project located near Hoodsport, WA (3 miles south)!

As a Grounds Worker, your responsibilities include lawn mowing, weed eating, and light janitorial duties. Dive into the fun side of work by participating in painting projects. Enjoy the outdoors as you handle tasks like garbage hauling, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the hydro project.

The average duration of employment for this seasonal position is approximately 6 months with possible extension. Starting pay for this position will be $20.51.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Some experience in performing heavy manual work; completion of the eighth grade; or any equivalent combination of experience and training
- Some experience providing customer service preferred
- Valid Washington State Driver License required at time of appointment and maintenance thereafter
- Appointment is subject to passing a background check, pre-employment medical exam and drug screen
