Lifeguard- Sweetwater

Description

: Provide overall supervision and safety of pool patrons

: Enforce pool rules; ensure safety of those using the pool and its facilities; rescue swimmers and administer resuscitation and first aid as required; collect pool fees when assigned; keep pool and facilities clean; perform duties with politeness and professional demeanor; abide by assigned schedules.

: 1. Education

• swimming, advanced lifesaving, CPR and first aid training
• Experience
• must be at least 16 years old. Previous lifeguard experience preferred. Experience
  
  

in teaching swimming classes helpful.

• Knowledge of
• swimming pool safety
• use of swimming pool equipment
• lifesaving devices
• Ability to
• behave in a professional manner
• deal politely and tactfully with pool patrons
• follow directions
• abide by scheduled tasks
• establish and maintain effective working relationships
• work in an outdoor environment subject to hot weather conditions
