What are the responsibilities and job description for the LEGAL RECORDS SPECIALIST position at City of Surprise, AZ?
SUMMARY
Incumbents in this position perform general and routine office support duties related to the Criminal Division of the City Attorney’s office. This position is responsible for all aspects of responding to discovery requests, redacting, and disclosing discovery to defendants and attorneys in various media forms.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma or GED and two years of clerical and administrative experience including computer use. Preferred experience in audio, digital, and/or visual editing in a legal or law enforcement environment. Relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
