Purpose of Job:
Purpose of work is to complete routine assignments and tasks, often in unpleasant surroundings and weather. Work requires performing manual labor requiring little or no
manipulative skill or previous experience. Incumbents work under the immediate supervision of an employee of a higher class; however, tasks can be easily learned, and then they can be performed with only general supervision.
- Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare facilities for rentals including all indoors areas such as kitchen and restrooms. Set up table and chairs.
- Monitor and correct any spills, full trash, or hazards
- Ensure all rental policies are enforced.
- Perform walk thru of facilities prior to and after event. Report all damages to supervisor.
- Clean facilities after rentals including all indoors areas such as kitchen and restrooms. Break down table and chairs. Ensures that trash is not left inside facility and put into the dumpster
- Maintain and inspect all assets.
- Will not participate in the festivities, ask for food, or consume alcohol
- Contact Police Department if any rules are not being followed
- Perform related work as required.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Ability to get along with fellow employees and superiors.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and to perform other heavy physical work.
Education/Experience Preferred:
- High school diploma.
- Possession of a valid Louisiana Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant and repetitive movement of fingers, hands and wrists.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour
