What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions - Rec Center position at City of St. Louis Park?
Responsible for staffing the concession stand, preparing concession items to be sold, collecting money for concessions and daily cleaning of concession areas.
General hours are Monday through Friday 4:30-9:30pm and weekends 9:00am –9:00pm.
Serve as concession salesperson to the general public
Operate concessions equipment which includes- cash register, pop machine, hot-dog cooker, ice maker, pretzel oven/warmer, coffee machine, etc.
Assist with inventory of supplies and notify Rink Manager when low.
Count money and distribute appropriate change.
Responsible for ongoing cleaning of concessions area, working to ensure area is being kept clean.
May assist in pre-season preparation and/or post season closedown of concession stand.
Prepare all fresh concession items daily.
Stock empty shelves (food & beverage).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 15 years old.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good basic math skills.
Good customer service skills to serve the public.
Experience working as a cashier or similar role handling cash transactions.
Salary : $16 - $20
