What are the responsibilities and job description for the St. James Solid Waste CDL Operator/Laborer position at City of St. James, MO?
Seeking motivated individuals for CDL Operator/Laborer to fill openings in the Solid Waste Department.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Safely operating a rear load refuse truck
- Trash and Recycle collection
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs multiple times per day
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Light maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Dumpster repairs and general maintenance
Requirements:
- Successful candidates must have reliable transportation to work
- Be able to pass a drug test prior to being hired
- Class B CDL/wAir brake endorsement is preferred, not required, will train the right candidate
Details and Benefits:
- Truck is equipped with lift that lifts the carts
- Full time 40hrs per week
- Work hours Monday-Friday 6AM to 2PM
- Employer Paid Insurance along with other optional benefits
- Pay Range $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications
