What you will do:
- Lead front desk and childcare operations and staff.
- Drive memberships and program participation by creating positive and memorable experiences for guests.
- Collaborate with the Family Center teams to provide fun, meaningful and creative community programs for all ages!
- Strong customer service experience.
- Leadership skills - collaboration and teamwork are key!
- Experience working with and around childcare/youth programs is a plus.
- This position leads the front-of-house operations, and does not have a fitness focus. Experience with serving a diverse community will set you up for success!

Qualifications and Requirements
Experience, Education, and Training
- Four years of experience developing and supervising recreational programs;
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Business Administration, or a closely related area;
- The equivalent of two years of full-time experience/four years of part-time experience working with the Springfield-Greene County Park Board in a related role.
- Any combination of education and experience as outlined that equals four total years meets minimum qualifications.
- Experience must be commensurate with specialty program area required for current vacancy.
Licensing/Certification
- If operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of completing job duties, must possess a valid driver's license;
- Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP)
