The incumbent is responsible to safely operate trucks for the Public Works department.

- Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers; maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of their own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.
- Operate trucks.
- Operate snow plows.
- Operate chat truck.
- Operate backhoe.
- Operate front end loader.
- Haul trash.
- Haul equipment.
- Travel out of state.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and 3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to acquire a CDL within 6 months of initial hire date.
- Obtain necessary IMSA Work Zone certification(s) within 6 months of initial hire date.
- Must be proficient in the use of various trucks and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects.
- Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.
Salary : $35,356 - $53,034
