The Corbin Art Center is seeking an experienced painting instructor to join our team in providing life enriching art programs to the Spokane community. As our painting instructor you will be responsible for developing and delivering a diverse curriculum that encompasses acrylic painting techniques, while providing an inclusive learning environment. Classes are for beginner to intermediate students where you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through the fundamentals of painting while encouraging them to explore their own unique artistic voices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement art curriculum and lesson plans
- Teach fundamental art techniques and concepts
- Guide students in exploring various art mediums and styles
- Provide constructive feedback on student artwork
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment

Painting Instructor Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Previous teaching experience in an academic or community setting
- Degree in Art or related field
- Proficiency in a wide range of art techniques and mediums
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Highschool diploma/GED
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to exercise proper care of equipment and facility
