Facilities Maintenance department, performing a variety of semi-skilled
custodial duties for facilities owned and operated by the City of
Spokane Valley. Working hours for this position are Monday through
Friday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have
exceptional professional skills, a positive work attitude and a strong
desire to provide superior service to both internal and external
customers.

and restrooms, including toilets and sinks. Restocking supplies like
soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other sanitary supplies. Sweep, mop
and vacuum floors throughout common areas, hallways, stairwells, and
offices. Dust surfaces, clean windows and sanitize high touch areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly according
to facility protocols. Operate a variety of tools, equipment and
machines including small hand tools typically used in janitorial work.
Monitor cleaning supply levels, paper products and equipment submitting
supply orders as needed. Inspect the facility for safety hazards and
report any repair needs to management. Other duties as assigned.

- SALARY:** Anticipated hiring range is in Grade 10 and will be \$21.67
